For a second I thought there was a knurled ring in the middle of your Smash.
I see it too ![]()
So I had a standard 925 35 lying around as part of a bulk sale I bought. I have no feelings whatsoever for the standard color combination. Then I had scraps of black 925 35 rear barrels from modding the 17.5s. Randomly decided to replace the silver accessories on this standard 35 with black ones from the scraps.
The change can’t be simpler but what a transformation. Personally, out of all the 925 35 (standard and limited) colorways, the standard night blue & silver would be ranked bottom half, but this night blue & black, despite not an official colorway, is easily my top 5. I am now deeply in love with this pencil. Unfortunately I have pencils I love even more and currently there’s no use cases for this one.
Thanks! It’s actually the Rite in the Rain index card wallet. Holds cards in front and with some small alterations, a field note book inside…main part of my EDC![]()
You can kinda see the Field Notes in there…
I bought this unusual mechanical pencil with “Fendi” on it. It’s fully rubber-covered and weighs 30g.
It’s much better made than I expected, and feels great to use.![]()
Fashion labels can sometimes be surprisingly good when it comes to stationery items ![]()
OHTO BLUES
I was happy to see the MS01 offered in 0.3 and a nice shade of blue when the first run was released. And happier still when a different shade of blue was chosen for the 0.5 limited edition in 2024…
here’s the bulk of what rotates around my desk at any given time. it’s a small collection but i’ve been very pleased with it. honestly, lurking around this forum has been a dangerous awakening to rare and unusual possibilites lol.

That leather organizer is really standing out to me as well!
Hi @mortalmachine , I like your selection of eraser, especially that MagicRub contraption from Faber-Castell — it is new to me.

BTW @mortalmachine - I see you have a rOtring Core. One of our members, @cytherian wrote a great review of them - here is a link to it.
Got this perfectly-working 60s Pentel Eleven 11 P2 For Film, worn outer but no rattle at all, less than $2 from a flea market.
Oh my goodness!! Congratulations!!!![]()
