I read the post you shared! thank you for the information.
I was wondering if you happen to know the release year of this mechanical pencil, as well as any advertisements related to it.
I managed to find the manual, but unfortunately this particular mechanical pencil wasn’t listed in it.

Well, the Paraphernalia Helite came out in 1979, so when ixi:z launched in1980 the pencil version probably came out with the first wave. But, there are 2 versions. The first version retained the Paraphernalia stampings while the later version did not.
There is also this page of ixi:z advertisments in a Platinum book. The thing is, this page says the ads date to 1978. So somewhere, the timeline got crossed.

This is my first time seeing Parafenalia’s Helite. I didn’t realize they had released something like the one in my photo.
The graphic looks quite similar to Sakura’s Archi YS series.

This Pilot Quatro marks the first purchase I made from one of the lovely members of this site. I generally like heavier pens as it has a full metal body. I am also partial to discontinued interesting designs. I replaced the refill with a Uni Jetstream Prime in 0.5 black.
Though I am more of a pen guy than a mechanical pencil guy, this community is truly wonderful and so welcoming!

Quick question. This looks just like the Standard Q1005L-A from the Korean Exclusive. Did you have a missing/broken piece that you rebuilt it?

The grip, clip & knock are indeed from a Q1005L-A.
The barrel and lead indicator ring are from a Tokyu Hands Q1005-DBR. I blame my phone camera for not showing the dark green enough. It indeed looks black in the picture
