I only have a black H225 but not a black H223.
I like the rear button
Great! Where does this brand come from?
It’s a Chilean rebranding of a Korean pencil whose OEM I’ve tried unsuccessfully to identify. There’s a 0.5 black and a 0.7 blue, but the local distributors haven’t responded to my emails. The shopkeeper said they weren’t going to be getting them anymore, so I took the last three they had. One dollar each.
Thank you! This is very unusual.
“Hello Neo”
The Lamy Swift rollerball pen. The clip mechanically retracts into the body when the pen is deployed. The same model was held by the Architect when Neo meets him in The Matrix Reloaded.
“…a harmony of mathematical precision.”
This triangle barrel mechanical pencil was easily available at stationery stores in South Korea until the 2010s. Now hardly see it. I think it was manufactured by a company called Buseong Industries(부성산업). This company made the product without their brand printed. I don’t know if this company still running, but their website is closed.
Got introduced to a new line of discontinued mechanical pencils from Monami today. Found these Mark series of pencils in an old stationery store today that I’ve been to a few times now.
I thought I had hit the jackpot for Korea Pilots as I was rummaging through the shelves, as a few old, red “PILOT” boxes were peaking out through the first row of boxes. When I opened them to see, these were in them instead. Not going to lie, wish they were Pilots, but I’m not going to complain.
They’re all in fairly good condition, considering they’re probably pushing 30 years old, except for the one in the middle, which you can see has a crack in the metal near the tip. It doesn’t seem to affect it’s ability to knock, however.
They have an interesting divot in the top of the cap they I’ve never seen before. Overall, they have a kneading design. A little akin to a Parker Jotter.nthr engraved “M” at the top of the clip remind me of the engraved “N" at the top of Newman mechanical pencils.
The star of the bunch is the Prima at the end. Its cap screws into the rest of the body, whereas the rest of them at friction-fitted, leaving them a bit wobbly. I did find through a cursory Google search that there’s a Prima with a gold clip, so guess I gotta add that to my wishlist now.
Holy Moly…how does one respond to ..that…?..thought Hexa 7000 was something…LOL
An elegant weapon for sure!
We’re expecting the 0.4 mm version tomorrow
(May the .4s be with you, etc. etc.)
I am sorry to inform you that this will be delayed until next Monday.
Ah yes, a slight oversight on my part!
Are there any primarily black or gray Smashes I’m missing besides the Q1000 and other colors of the splatter limited edition?
I like the zesty cats!
