I have only black ones, and I thought those were the most common…
They did the same with their 2 mm version: silver or black…
ok thanks
I’ve been trying to find a black gripped one in 0.5 but can only seem to find it in 2.0mm.
Tombow Monotech 500, which I think was sold from sometime in the 80s through the early 90s. There are black- and silver-gripped versions, which I have in 0.3, 0.5, and 0.7. A 0.9 variant exists, too, but I guess I was blind to that since I don’t care for 0.9. Terrible omission, as the orange lead indicator wheel looks really cool on display.
My pencil case was stagnant for about 2 months. Felt like I needed to switch it up. Yea.. I probably reach for the smash more. But at least I can switch it up.
I really like the Rotring 300.
It looks like the S55 may be a Generation 2, since the ridges don’t appear to be as sharp as the Generation 1.
Thanks for the insight! Honestly, I’m a bit dizzy trying to keep track of the changes in the MEC, PMG etc… I remember being a bit disappointed with the CDT when I got it: Why is this grip so smooth???
Lovely Stabilograph! I have the 2mm version. Yours look superb.
Nice instructions! The whole original package is nice, unfortunately I only have the pencil…
That looks to be in excellent condition. The 770 is one of my last major grails.
Lion 3150 thanks to @DarkwingDuck . It’s a really nice pencil. The grip gets the job done and is very grippy. Only 12.3 grams. Only issues are the clip and the top of the mechanism. It’s not so secure near the top of the barrel leading to a bit of noise if it’s rattled about, but isn’t that noticable unless you actively are shaking the pencil.
