If you like that pencil then you will also like the Xeno CX-0.5 or whatever size.
Is that the pg5? Looks like the pg5
I second every good opinion regarding the Xeno; very solid, reliable, and precise item; hyper-recommended.
As for the pencil in the picture, @DarkwingDuck , it’s either a PG5 or its progenitor, the Pentel Graph (methinks).
silver band PG5
I understand it’s one of the few Mars models that have a metal clutch, right?
I believe these are the Export versions of the Pentel P245 version 1. The only ones I have without the stickers don’t have any text on them, and I believe those would be the Domestic version.
I’ve seen them in your book.
I don’t think the printed ones come with stickers but honestly I think I like the look of these with print and no stickers over the ones with stickers but no print.
Regardless, the brown is such a nice brown!
I got lucky to get these… a pencil not often seen and I got 3 of the colors in one swoop!
I would like to pick up a brown with text at some point.
And these appear to be the later generation without the m/m text.
I think the javapen is my favorite of those due to its resemblance to the Sanford Pro Touch II.
I thought it looked familiar, but thought it was a riff on a Platinum Pro-Use MSD-500. That makes much more sense now ^.^ Thanks!

I never thought I’d have the luck that some people here on the forum have had, but I had my @Leonov moment. I found a lot where the seller didn’t know what mechanical pencils he was selling, each Archi pencil went for less than $9. Plus, there was the Sakura pencil and two more plastic Zebra pencils. I never thought I’d have 3 Archis, if I lived in the US I’d try to trade with someone here lol.
I shall happily buy one of your Archis for the whopping figure of 10$! ![]()
Congratulations! These pencils are probably not my cup of tea, but I reckon they are beautiful. Also, that feeling you can experience through your mind when the stars align is one of the things I collect pencils for.
Whoa, where was this auction? (I assume not YAJ or the usual suspects)
It was in the Brazil version of ebay called mercadolivre.
Incredible. Enjoy the score!
