Very nice!
What is that gold nosed lead holder if you don’t mind educating me… ![]()
That gg is a muji?
I think it’s a tect2way ro
My EDC as a student!
Conveniently, there’s an odd, Kuru Toga Orange Limited Edition-shaped hole in the middle…
The holder is a weathered KIN 5611.
@knowishallnot is correct.
Luddite bag theme!
Sick!
Can we get an ID on the Twsbi and the bottom-most Pen?
Front half of a Niji Grip 350 DX in a cheap Chinese fountain pen body. Shares a pocket with keys and occasional coins.
Is it just a lucky fit at the nose or did you have to bore it precisely?
The original parts have covered ends at both sides, so I just drilled them both open.
The front has to have a hole large enough for the inner tip, but not large enough for the cone, so not difficult at all.
The in the back, I carefully enlarged the hole with a conical rotary file, as I wanted a tight tolerance with the cap.
The plastic in front of the rubber grip had to be filed a bit thinner to fit inside the metal tube.
The back has some trial and error to make the interior long enough to actuate the deeper click, without a ridiculously long clicker. That was the only ”difficult” part.
I decided on a shorter ballpoint clicker and having permanent tension on the spring, to make it shorter than otherwise possible.
Very cool project. This is a level of tinkering I admire.
