Currently on my desk: [IMG_5694] (Left to Right) Flex Fit GT — A cool, soft writing instrument that I get immense pleasure from, I’ve been using it for years as a primary pencil OHTO Horizon — Got it in the mail today, brand spanking new. It’s not a perfect pencil because the tip wiggles too much and sometimes it doesn’t feel high-grade, but it’s growing on me for all the other reasons. I like honest pencils. What else do you collect?

After Cytherian disclosed that he is now in the scissor collecting business, I got curious. Do you guys collect other things besides mechanical pencils (and pens)? If so, what do you collect and why? Since two years ago, I’ve been collecting Altoid and Barkley mint tins. For as long as I can remember, I’ve also collected model cars. Additionally, I enjoy taking apart old electronics and keeping one of the component for myself, it goes from a CPU to an electric motor.

Advice for my first pen convention

I will be going to the Baltimore International Pen Convention next weekend. I have never been to a pen convention before and was wondering if anyone has any advice, tips, or has some experiences they would like to share. There are some classes/workshops.
