Have we confirmed that one of us in the states will be able to place the order via the site? Just making sure there’s no blocks with forms of payment, origin address, etc. here.

Oh. I understood that wrong then. I thought we had to have someone here place the order and just use the Germany shipping address. And then he’d mail to one of us here.

No, you understood correctly. The original idea was to have one of you order them and ship them to the me (in Germany). I‘d then ship them all to the states in one package to one of you, who‘d then post them to their owners accordingly.
I mean, if it’s easier, I suppose I could order them myself, but then I’d prefer to not have to chase 8 people for individual PayPal transactions.

Ok that’s what I thought.
I just wanted to verify that there aren’t any road blocks to someone here in the states actually creating an account and purchasing.
I would imagine that everyone here who wants in would send money via PayPal to our stateside rep and then place the order and pay with PayPal.
Can the website receive a PayPal payment?

Shall we just do the second route then? I.e:
Everyone pays me, via PayPal, for their individual pencils. Then I order them, and ship them to receiver in the States. Receiver then simply reimburses me for the shipping cost, and they in turn can pass that cost on to the individuals when they organise shipping within the US.

You can scan the QR code below to pay with Paypal. Suggest adding your username as the reference so that it’s easier for me to keep track of who has paid.

Should be be free. That said, watch out for conversion rate and international fees.
I‘ll place the order once everyone is accounted for, and will use Patrick‘s spreadsheet as the source of truth

Makes sense. Perhaps you should have 2 order dates, so people can pay you prior… then with the grouping there should be enough for free shipping. Or just do it in one shipment.
