Zebra Delguard LX in Fog White

Thanks to @drifand for his terrific Feeling Black & White topic, HERE… I became aware of the Delguard in a Fog White colorway by Zebra.

My writing was a bit rough, because underneath the paper was a slightly textured surface that threw me off a little. The LX is nicely weighted, due to a brass cylinder lining the interior of the grip sleeve. I wasn’t a big fan of the Delguard technology when it first came out… as my belief is, don’t apply too much pressure and your lead won’t break. But, sometimes you want to press harder for a darker line without changing out for a softer lead hardness. Color me impressed with how the mechanism works. It really does do a good job of protecting the lead. The white finish feels pretty durable. Hopefully good at keeping off stains.

The thing I’d always felt Zebra missed out on was to promote 0.3mm more since they had a great system for enabling carefree general use. Or… colored 0.5mm leads that Uni used to produce but were always too brittle anyway.

I agree completely, I really wish I could find a color I like in 0.3.

That’s a very nice colourway! Another member of the Storm Trooper section, along with the Pentel Smash and the Kitera Lift+1 in black & white
