I really like the Zebra AS V. There’s also an AS X that is a bit fancier. They surprised me though I don’t know why considering I love the 301 and the 701.
They all look very nice side by side. I look forward to receiving the Kitera I ordered also in white. Very nice

Gorgeous black & white motif styling spread.
I didn’t know about that Delguard Fog White. Jet Pens has it for over $17 USD… while other places have it for half that much. Also digging that Metaphys Locus in B&W. I have one in silver with black clip. Very solid feeling pencil.

Nice lineup!
I think it is about time they released a black and white steadtler limited 925 35 similar to these combos.

There was a ceramic white for Korea but if you try swapping for black cone, lead degree indicator and clip, the paint will likely chip.

The Metaphys Locus series really needs to be produced again! I read that it was manufactured by Fueki, an OEM for construction leadholders and carpenter pencils etc. Maybe they don’t want to deal with the fuss of the level of finish needed for lifestyle products

Interesting piece… I remember I saw one for the first time precisely on the pages of this Forum, by following the adventures of Damdeok’s collection.
What is your general take on this holder? Do the functionality, the balance, and the feeling match the aesthetic pleasantness?

Really digging the Caran D’Ache pieces!

Zebra AS-series is really visually driven. Only bad thing is that the glossy paint finishes are prone to cracking.

I heartily recommend picking up most of the Metaphys Locus designs. All feature excellent paint finishes on brass bodies. The negatives are really due to the designer’s emphasis on style over practicality, especially on how the wire clip doesn’t really grip a page or pocket very well, and tends to scratch the pen body if you are too casual with it. The leadholder is an incremental advance clutch, ala the Staedtler 925 25/35.
One thing I’m particular about is that the Locus series has a very distinctive tip/nose that blends industrial chic with Björk-like robotic grace. This is why the only Locus item I didn’t go for was the 3-Way multipen because they had to relent and implement a more conventional rounded tip instead.
Color-wise, do note that only the white and orange are glossy finished while the black and silver are matte-metallic. The glossy ones are just sexier.

I was fortunate enough to grab up two auctions, one for the 2mm lead holder and one for the 3-in-1 (HERE), for pretty great prices. I wanted the BP, but someone was tenacious on the bidding. I really want that black & white motif version!
