An unexpected detail, on the rotrings the 0,3 has a circle on the cone, while the 0,5 has none. The contemporary drafting Staedtler and Faber-Castell had nothing on the 0,3, one ring on the 0,5, two on the 0,7 and three on the 0,9. Rotring got the first two inverted. Why?
My little tribute to the unknowable relationship between Parafernalia and Platinum in the 1980s. The initial run of [ixi:z] fashion label stationery was mostly filled out by relabeled / licensed Parafernalia designs, but later, Platinum produced (or designed and had them made by Kotobuki?) several original non-Parafernalia models like this cap-knock pencil in black rubberized coating. I picked this lesser seen Revolution pen to pair with it as the matte black / red accents seemed like the perfect match.
Just when I think I’ve seen it all, @drifand always comes out with something shiny and novel that I must then spend sleepless nights scouring the internet for.
