Which model did you buy? Looks like you got one of each!!

I didn’t, it was a small joke that didn’t really go over that well.
I knew @Mecha had located the pencil after all of the effort discovering its identity so I implied that it was mine though I knew it wasn’t.
Win some lose some.. :upside_down_face:

Well - you got me!

Is that Itala not one of THE BEST plastic pencils ever!?!?
I couldn’t believe I implied a few months ago on a post of @drifand that it “wasn’t for me”.
It is very much for me and definitely at the top of my list of favorites.
I didn’t know the initial knock was a twist at first so I thought I bought a broken one but man oh man… I couldn’t have been more wrong about my thoughts on a pencil I never held at that time.

I have been waiting to add this to the collection since 3-4 years. I loved it since I first saw it! That printed signature parker clip on the actual clip did it for me. Well ahead of its time in style.

Only a few times the prices were reasonable on mercari but they were getting sold out instantly.

And yes the two stage mechanism is a nice touch.

It took me seeing it on eBay for $48 (which was WAY down from the $100+ numbers I saw before)
I figured I’d have at least a solid investment…
I’m glad I leaped because it’s very nice

Does this count as a desk?

I failed in my last play date with my blowtorch.

Some interesting shapes!

That top one looks like a knockoff of a Pentel Smash.

The ixi:z has an all metal body with hefty weight, a sliding sleeve, and great build quality - it feels more like a premium version of the Smash!

As INXS would say the ixi:z is “What you need”

The ixi:z is a strange crossbreed. Original design was an all-brass ballpoint by Paraphernalia, and after the licensing deal with ixi:z, the MP was produced by Platinum.

A lot more than usual… mostly just new acquisitions that I need to file away:
Set of 3 white Staedtler Mars Micro (0.3/0.5/0.7)
Skilcraft Draft Pro 0.5
Alvin Draft/Matic DM07 0.7
Sanford Pro-Touch II 0.5
Paper Mate Tri-Grip 0.7
Skilcraft American Classic 0.7
Skilcraft Stainless Elite 0.7 (Incredible pencil…)
Yasutomo Artist Pencil 1.1
Berol Cassette CA7 XL 0.7
Pentel Graphlet PG503 0.3
Pilot Round 0.5
A sealed Pilot GX300

… and lastly, a cracked vintage stickered Pentel 5 (500 yen) with a blue grip section, possibly damaged in shipping. Bummed big time. Stress crack on the metal barrel where it meets the blue grip section.

The Sanford ProTouch II is a gem.
