For the uni UPH-8000 and the Craft A I would look on Mercari or Yahoo auctions. The Mimics can be ordered via email to the address mentioned on the website; English works perfectly. You tell Mr. Tetsuya Wada which one(s) you are interested in and he will sent you a quote. The one from YARN can also be ordered via email from the website; they also ship internationally. The Rosetta extenders may turn up on eBay but I’m not sure (I have bought them when they were regularly available but that was long ago).
Some web browsers offer translation services. Here are details of the Apple feature (if you use a different browser check the help for details)
So… yet another offering from my offspring - this time from my middle son. He had overheard the conversation about pencil holders - and took it upon himself to craft something from Lego.
It fits the Pentel GraphGear 300s perfectly!
And, of course, it’s orange.
It must be a trick of the lighting, I see other colors
Well spotted - not a lighting trick - the orange 0.7mm pencil and the 0.9mm (right hand side with the thickness scratched off) have custom pipe covers in a translucent non-colored body - the outer body of the RHS 0.9mm is from a 0.7mm donor (sadly trashed in a ‘lending your pencil to an oaf who immediately thought to heavily challenge their resilience’ incident).
The orange sticker around the cap of the far left 0.3mm is to distinguish lead type.
The Samco and the Metaphys clip lookalike are very interesting
Picked up a Pilot clutch point, as I love an immovable lead in use and my Staedtler integrity grip is getting that weird sticky perishing feel now…
Gotta love me some vintage Clutch Point. I really feel the double clutch mechanism lost out on sexiness compared to the twirly wonder Kuru Toga.
Its weird, I just like to have a solid lead held straight, in a pencil. If it were a hammer and it offered to load up a nail and adjust the head to hit it square, I’d probably still stick with the analogue. Just want to maintain the work of my own hand in any task, you know?!
That shade of green is very nice
Great examples and box too. I always wondered about the relationshop between these brands. Good to understand the connection
Just received these today from Japan.
Right 4 are packaged Neon P205’s from Japan. @Riley181 said they are different from the ones in Europe and Australia.
Next is a Rolly PC315A
In the box with the Rolly is a Red PN105, first Generation with the short tip
In the dark box is a Burberry BEP221.
Last is a set of 5 FQ305 BE POP pencils
I went ahead and sent a big chunk of my order early to beat the tariff. The last item at ZenMarket arrived today, but I won’t get it by Friday.
I just received my latest today as well. May be a while before the next one. I really don’t want to pay hundreds of dollars to get pencils shipped.
I found an old art box with a tightly fitting box at the bottom that acted as a ‘secret compartment’ - with some of my old high school ‘Technical Drawing’ class materials still in it. Not sure when the Parker Vector joined the party - but most of these items I’ve not seen since 1984! Lucky I shook the outer box as it was just about to be tossed!
Kick myself for not pulling the trigger on those. Glad they went to a great home! Kudos, friend!
I quickly skimmed the post earlier and saw the stand holder, I just came back to ask about it and read that your son made it. It’s great, I loved it, very well designed.
Very nice - and really early versions too! Do you know the birthdays? I would guess '82 - '85.
The Parker Vector. Can you disassemble the tip and mechanism from the black grip? Mine seems stuck.
