You have one there that I need to find. The Black P329 with the yellow triangle sticker.

I wish I knew at the time that you were hunting for it, a few months ago it was on mercari for a while. My guess is that they had a box, it wasn’t titled as a 329 though.

Itala by the bushel! Got a tip off for a sale of old stock Parker Itala on Shopee, an Asian e-market. Only colors left were a single blue and a bunch of yellows. The blue pencil is slightly yellowed and Im currently using diluted peroxide to try and clean it up.

I’m curious! Why do you think Mitsubishi made the holder with such a long button? As a counterbalance?

Really don’t know… nevertheless, I have to say that it is not my favorite one. It just doesn’t fit in my hand somehow. But it is really nice.

It’s like - for example - the Rotring 600, a beautiful pencil with technical look, but not for me. Maybe for drawing, but not for writing and painting/drafting.

Do you happen to know the model number of the leadholder? I have and like it too but I don’t know anything about it.

I don’t anything about it also. As far as I know it was always referred to only as “Hi-Uni”. Here is an original paper which was included in original plastic pouch, but there is no model number…

I will take better photo (and change it) when the lighting conditions are better.

Thank you! I have that leaflet too (see https://www.lexikaliker.de/2024/09/mitsubishi-hi-uni-holder/) and was surprised that Mitsubishi doesn’t provide a model number. However, maybe it was the only Hi-uni holder back then so no further naming was necessary

It looks like this. Maybe someone else can help us.
