Spray painted and modified rotring 800. :joy:

Definitely looks like some sort of 800 knockoff. I’m also fairly certain it’s pre 2000s.

No groove on the lead indicator knob for the red ring.
Clip is not the C-lamp style but held down by the lead indicator.
Non-drafting tip.
Not a rOtring but some off brand knock-off.

Summer, warm weather, fruits and flowers all over the place call for some colorful stuff…really like the look and feel of the Graph 1000 CS cap on the Smash

Isn’t there a white Altro 0.5?

No. There is no 0.5 Altro at all.

@Dux, @Heath is right there was indeed a .5mm altro sold in Japan. Do not know about other places. This is my own picture from my old mercari account.

Wow. Never heard of that one.
I stand corrected.

In rotation this week:
Penco Perfection bullet pen & Kaweco AL Sport in glossy finish. Had been eyeing the metal Penco ever since the plastic versions were released. However, my dream of a metal body compact pencil didn’t come true: Penco only made the ballpoint. It is brass constructed and it was offered in matte black, glossy silver and gold. I felt the matte black would probably get worn shiny, so I chose silver. And to go with it, I bought the equally compact AL Sport when the NBC Stationery main store closed down at Raffles City shopping mall recently.

New pencil day

Picked this up fairly cheap on eBay. It just arrived. I bought it for the older P205 and the PF337 but was really happy they included the tray (and lid).

P205 with m/m has date code 780829.
P205 with mm has 810809,
PF337 has 791020

Not a bad haul for $25

Did not think much about the Tombow holder before but it is very unique and I quite like it now.

Don’t see the Drawing Holder D knock type very often nowadays! Congrats!

Very nice! My favorite outlier is the Datagraph with its computer OCR font and continuous twist mechanism. I wonder if it ever appeared in a catlog somewhere?

The difference between it and the 9587 is the fixed sleeve and it makes all the difference. I’m not a twist mechanism fan but I also love that 9588.
