We need a “real“ green 600

Maybe there’s less issues with the precision line. Unlike rotring, TWSBI cracks on the plastic. A person did a stress analysis and showed that those parts were manufactured already with medium high stresses in them. The most typical cracks are in fountain pens of the line eco or diamond I think

this can’t be a crappy brass batch any longer — it’s the connection inside. The way they connect the two parts forces the body to crack in one of the hex sides or it is too thin or something similar. Funny thing (or a really sad one) is how old this problem is and they never did anything to fix it. In the FPs it’s presure fitted so it could be tolerances but on the MP it’s usually threaded so it shouldn’t be a problem.

Even in the Rapid Pros the way they connect the section with the body with a crappy plastic ring is really… disappointing. The Rapid Pro 2mm would be a top pencil if it wasn’t for the fact that countless specimens get a loose connection and they becomes nearly non-usable with a wobbly grip section.

I’m happy to report two new rOtring 600 colorway variants received and no cracks at all. One is mint green (without NONBLE printing) and the other is chocolate truffle… which is like a deep metallic ruddy brown.

I have one in pearl white that I really like. The red text feels a bit NASA-like to me
