Three brothers with the same DNA

From the top:

Ueda DD pro-500 07
Staedtler 925 07 first version
Kokuyo TZ-5223 Campus Art

All parts are interchangeable between them. Are there any other versions?

The original Staedtler 925s are in my top-10 favorite MPs of all time (specifically the international release with color-coded lead hardness indicator windows). I just love the short knurled section. Mitsubishi had a similar piece, but it doesn’t hold the same charm for me as the 925.

There’s also a Pelikan branded version, basically a Staedtler with a different tip:

Interesting how the 2 non-Staedtlers seemingly only came in 0.7mm

The Kokuyo also comes in 0,5 and is designated TZ-5213 and in 0,3 as TZ-5203.

Ueda exists in 0,3 and 0,5 also; the DD Pro 500 is black while the 1000 is silver with color coded lead hardness indicator rings.

Ah that makes sense. I’ve seen 0.3 & 0.5 DD Pro 1000s but somehow all images of DD Pro 500 I’d seen in the past were 0.7
