Stationary Stores in New Orleans?

I will be in New Orleans next month for a medical device conference, staying in the Frech Quarter right near the convention center so that’s the general area I’m talking about. Bear in mind that “Stationary Store” in my mind equates to any place where I might pick up a new pencil or pen, so that may widen the selection. But any suggestion is appreciated! Here in Memphis, there are no real brick and mortar places left. My typical options available locally are low end Zebra and Pentel products.

Any chance you may meet anybody able to get one of these now-chronically-out-of-stock B3L scalpel handles from Swann-Morton? Do you happen to have these non-directly-pencil-related items?

I’d happily add here a piece of advice regarding stationery shops, but I know next to nothing about New Orleans, sorry! :frowning:

I’ll look around the place - there’s usually a huge dealer room(s). How far out of stock is it?

Good question; I’ll use the wayback machine on the SM website to pin down the actual production interval, but I suspect that it stopped at least 10 years ago, maybe earlier (and it was a very niche product I’m afraid). More soon.
