Pentel Tags and Stickers Article

I am putting together an article about the Japanese Pentel Tags and Stickers (pre-barcode) from the 60’s to the 90’s.

I have identified 110 different tags and stickers (including price differences) of which I am missing 11. If anybody has an example of these stickers, please post a picture here that I can use for this article.

These are the ones I am missing. If you have versions with different prices, pleas include all of them.

First,

regarding these four:

• Square Sticker (JIS - with Permit) 0.2mm

• Square Sticker (JIS - with Permit) 0.4mm

• Square Sticker (JIS - No Permit) 0.2mm

• Square Sticker (JIS - No Permit) 0.4mm

At the time, 0.2 mm and 0.4 mm were outside the JIS standard, so they do not exist.

Next**,** regarding Square Sticker (No JIS) 0.3 mm: I have never seen this one. However, the possibility that it exists is high.

As for the many other types for which photos are requested, I have seen all of them, or actually own them. Please wait a little longer.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I would expect there to be a PMG out there with this sticker, since it did not stop being sold until at least 2007.

Here is a Pre-JIS Sticker 0.9mm

The most likely one is P323. For some reason, as far as I know, No-JIS Square Stickers exist only in the three series: S5x / P32x / PF50x.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

There are a few others that I do have, but could use better pictures.

Rectangle Sticker 0.7mm 替 芯 付 ¥800

I have pictures of these, but some are curled, sun-faded, blurry or damaged

Interesting. @Knocktype11 also sent me a photo of his sticker and it is very different from the one above. It is also only for ¥150 instead of ¥300.

Also, in the 3rd picture, the 0.5mm on the left has a different style label than any of the other Pentel Sharp 11 stickers in that picture.

The 111 is weird in several dimensions. It it is also a generation earlier than the the Sharp 11.

I misunderstood what he sent me. This was the Pentel 111, not the Sharp 11.
