Wow you are the closest yet, but it is not the Philippines. It is probably the same or similar pencil under a different brand that I’ve only every heard of being found in one particular neighboring country to the Philippines though.

Ding ding ding! Close enough! It is actually the Horse, which from my recent trip I learned is a Thai stationery distribution company based out of Chinatown in Bangkok. Here it is with all the siblings I have.

And now I’ve blown my secret weapon. Silly me.
I think I never noticed a dark blue vs. light blue before. I wonder if those are actually different colors or just discoloration over time (they certainly look intentionally different here).

I would’ve said turquoise but every time I call something blue I’m told it’s green, if I say it’s green I’m told it’s blue
