I don’t know you, I very easily could’ve read things wrong. It’s the main problem with text instead of voice, there’s no emphasis or inflection.
I don’t really know why I felt the need to interject, something in there struck a chord with me.
Regardless, majority of your artist references went right over my head because I don’t draw or know a single thing about art history.
AND I don’t play guitar….
Either way, I enjoy reading everyone’s views on any of these pencil topics because I enjoy pencils… and music

The difference between 2h and 2b create an amazing contrast…. I believe you might be underestimating the level of creativity involved when it comes to drawing.
