FUJI 2100 2.0 mm

Selling a true rarity from the 60s — the FUJI 2100, which I believe was a sub-brand of Mitsubishi (like the DEMI). I’ve kept it in the same condition it arrived to me —it is in good condition, imprints somewhat faded and minimal wear consistent with age.

Asking $250. Shipping is free. DMs welcome.

Thanks for posting. Is it incremental advance 2mm?

New price: $200.

I’m intrigued but I think there might be a gap in my general understanding of this piece’s rarity / significance…

Well I would say that the significance of this pencil is exactly the same significance of any other pencil. Interesting nuances and unusual features were discussed here:

As to its rarity — I think the absence of any info or that you never actually see one in millions of listings speaks for itself.

Ha. Glad to see that I asked the same question about its incremental advance feature a year ago. Good to remember that I can’t remember anything.

Actually it’s just as sophisticated as the Uchida Drawing Holder D, perhaps even more sophisticated since it does the same thing with minus 1 part (the O-ring on the Uchida) even though the ring seems to help having a more satisfactory clicking action.
