I’m beyond honored to announce that Knockology has partnered with Jimmy Simpson, aka the legendary Nimrodd, to bring his invaluable Pentel Mechanical Pencil Identification Book online for the very first time. This resource is now available to all Knockology members with a Trust Level of 2 or above.
If you’ve been around the world of mechanical pencil collecting for any length of time, you already know that Nimrodd is the definitive authority on Pentel pencils. His tireless work has documented Pentel mechanical pencils from the 1960s all the way to modern day, creating an absolutely essential catalog for collectors, researchers, and enthusiasts alike.
Jimmy’s dedication is unmatched. His deep passion, attention to detail, and generosity have gifted us a tool that is, quite honestly, priceless. And now, thanks to his incredible graciousness and trust in our community, we’ve worked together to bring this legendary resource to life in a digital format — right here on Knockology.
