Iām speaking out of memory but Iām pretty sure dense green is one of the 3 standard colors
Dang it you are right
I gave mine away and only kept the orange and the 2 orig release ones I had, so I guess Iām just putting it out of my mind.
Just to be a bit more conciseā¦
Can anyone here confirm if all releases have the exact same mechanism, body design, and materials? Because if thatās the case, it probably makes sense to call these releases instead of generations. I usually take a āgenerationā as having some kind of product evolution taking place, such as changes to shape, materials, accents, and features.
Aurora Purple didnāt release at the exact same time as the three 3rd release colors, but it wasnāt that far behind. Would that be considered a 4th release, or perhaps 3rd release? Especially since itās not limited.
sure.
actually, there is a difference between the origin Grand Blue and others.itās the spring in the clutch.you can find the the difference
in below pictures.(the one below is Grand blue )

in fact, there is no difference between other Dives, except for Grand Blue.(at least from my Dives )Grand Blue has so called "scratch-resistant paint"which can heal micro scratches(about 5mm)automatically.
Welcome to the forum, @yuiopo ! Glad you are here.
What is the difference? It looks like the lower spring got stretched where it does not belong.
And it looks like the upper end sits closer to the tip.
thanks for your comment @amjacobs7
In this picture, both springs are at their original lengths, and it is evident that Grand Blue has fewer turns. This suggests that Uni has identified issues with the Diveās clutch and made improvements.
So the Grand Blue is inferior?
if you mean the clutch , thatās indeed the case. but GrandBlue has better craftsmanship (other Dives have more mold lines while Grand Blue has only one), superior painting (as I mentioned above ), and greater commemorative significance.
So glad I only purchased the first one. Grand blue. I do wish they would make a black one.
Sorry if this video has been posted elsewhere (it looks like we have a few Dive posts going) but this collector has made a fantastic video where he takes the Dive apart and goes over all the functions.
This was posted 3 months ago but it is the first one I have seen that went to this level of detail. He has a few other videos on the Dive on his channel.
24 minutes to explain the dive
It comes with an instruction manualā¦
Even if purchased second hand, 24 minutes is crazy.
Thereās a lot of dead space in the video. Lots of repetition and an āin the momentā pondering of thoughts to come up with something to say. He couldāve done a preliminary outline in more detail so he wouldnāt be searching for what to say, and cut the time in half.
Example:
āWhat you see here⦠what you see here on the top of the cap here⦠itās the minimal⦠from the minimal to max. Five clutch. One, thatās two, three for five. Five distant, and the people knows it controls how much lead was advanced. How much lead was advanced, that is also⦠uh⦠but how, how⦠here is how. When you were adjusting, when you were adjusting, adjusting⦠the knob here will you actually change, what you actually changeā¦ā
Kind of hard to watch, given the rough flow. But the value is seeing the fully disassembled engine. I would never do it. I expect if the mechanism ever went wrong, it would be due to a broken part. And given the tolerances in play, not user-fixable.
Yesā¦. Videos posted with no regard for their audience frustrate me to no end. They HAVE to know how annoying they are.
Glad you mentioned the visual on the engine. I didnāt know it went THAT in depth. Gonna struggle through againā¦
It takes courage to post a video about something you are passionate about. Most people start with no knowledge of how to edit like a pro.
I wasnāt bashing for subject matter or passion. But simply put some thought into what you are doing. Being efficient while being informative shows mutual respect for the maker and the viewer.
Dude, you sure seem to have a way of saying things that sound off-putting to others.
I guess soā¦
Didnāt realize. Definitely not intentional.
