Zebra M/F1001 M/F1501 M/F2001

A. My humble opinion is these are the best looking pen pencil sets.
B. If there exists a Black and Gold Pen I NEED IT!!

The oldest original refill in one of mine dates back to 1986! For the longest time, I used a F1001 ballpoint to pair with the Pilot H-109x series. And then Plotter 2001 came along, ruled for a while and faded away into our collective memories like a once-in-40-years desert cactus bloom.

Definite “achievement unlocked” moment. This is one of the collection vignettes I need to be sure and obtain. (To be clear, I want the 4 pencils.)

I just love how classy these Zebras are and how much they stand out in pencildom.

What does this board think? Is this Zebra’s most iconic and identifiable MP design?

Honestly… I think the M301 is more identifiable

BUT, you gave two criteria so, you may be correct in saying both iconic AND identifiable!

Definitely my favorite!

You might be right. Those were in every office supply store in America in the 1990s.

Really lovely sub-collection! So are there only 4 models in this range, with the right-most ones being the only ones with silver fittings? What are the model numbers for each, from left to right?

My answer is only a guess because they’re found under all model numbers

Silver 1001

Gold 1501

Black 2001

edit… come to think of it, it may say it on the back of the sticker

I’ll look in the morning

I was all the way wrong….

Also, @2nd_astronaut had it figured previously as well.

I have the middle two, but yeah, you’re right about searching for them. They are always mislabeled.
