At the least, if it doesn’t last very long, there is always https://aucview.aucfan.com/. On that site it will show you the bidding history up to the 3 month limit.
Also, if you’re not aware, there is “aucfree.com”. You can look up old auctions with that website, well past the Yahoo Auctions Japan auction viewing limit. You can go back 10 years. However, there is no bidding history provided there, if using as a free account.
One other thing… Aucfree keeps a limited image set for auctions. I think it’s up to 3. So, what you can do is take the auction code and go to Aucview. Over on that site you can usually see all of the original auction images.
