Working on New Pentel Pencil Book - New Article?

I am working on putting together the latest iteration of the Pentel Pencil ID Book, and have thought about including an article on the Capped pencils that Pentel has had over the years. If the brain trust here at Knockology would look at this and let me know if this is something that should be included or not, please let me know.

I think it’s good information to include

I’ve never considered the MEC a capped design… it is more like a retractable tip. Conceptually, it is more akin to the MS01 or Promecha series. A ‘cap’ needs to be detachable. Otherwise, it isn’t a cap.

Not sure why the AM113 is included?

Yes. And the capped hashtag will be useful.

About the MEC, you are right, it is more akin to Retractable tips. I am going to remove it.

The AM113 is included because it has a cap.

What does “FF” stand for in the tags of your book?

Form Factor. Indicating a common form for the pencils.

That would be something to add to the front.

My bad on the 113. I thought it was the AMAIN / AM13.
