PLACEHOLDER. Work in progress.
Iâd like to call dibs on the Ohto Tasche, the Pilot 5000Y 0.5, and is that a Pentel Ceramicron pencil??
Thatâs the P125 and yes it goes with the Ceramicron.
Yes, that is a Pentel Ceramicon pair â the capped pen and the mechanical pencil, in box.
I do have more than one OHTO Tasche available, so I can set aside one for you. And also the PILOT Grandee L („5000). Itâs a very solid and well put together executive style pencil (I have one in navy blue that Iâm keeping, at least for the time being).
I have a bunch of the Ceramicron pens, but didnât realize there was a companion pencil to go with it. Do you also happen to have any Ceramicron refills?
That Parker looks to be a Insignia âgrain dâorangeâ model, probably produced sometime in the 90s.
Sadly, no. Thatâs the vexing thing about the Ceramicron â those proprietary refills, like the Rolling Writer. I wonder if anyone ever came up with a technique to refill them in a way that keeps them from leaking.
Sakura Create Sharp wooden series. I canât remember what kind of wood they use. Someone here might know. Theyâre very well made. Pipe slide. As you can see, the design varied a bit. The clip and rear metal furniture arenât the same. Also, one has a slight bevel to the center ring while the other is straight. The beveled one comes in the original box with „2000 price hang tag.
The second one without the hang tag may be a later âSlide Sharpâ model after Sakura decided to drop the âCreateâ branding.
Unknown in pic 3 is a Platinum. This model also came in red and yellow textured finish (but I donât know a model number or colloquial name).
Thanks. Yes, the top one looks more premium.
There is a full set on mercari, the description says âleather wrappedâ. Is it really leather or just textured rubbery paint?

Nice catch!
I had no idea that they came in other colors. The âPâ emblem is so small, I overlooked it. Definitely Platinum.
Leather? No. Thereâs no grain to it. I wouldnât call it rubbery. Itâs a textured coating of some kind, almost like a crinkle finish.
Definitely NOT leather. They have a roughed-up, textured finish.
