(fan of brown pencils here too). I like the Jibs a lot - I guess I’m secure enough in my masculinity to use a “lady pencil”
Are there any alternatives to the brush-tip / fude refills? I was thinking maybe the Kokuyo WP fine-writer refill might be worth checking out. The capillary tip has a bit of flex to allow some stroke variation…
I haven’t found any replacements so far for the F-300… Do you think the Kukuyo’s would fit?
Edit: I imagine the Fine-Writer is something like this pen?
I bought it a long time ago, it is more interesting than the fudes from Tombow although it doesn’t write as well as the others it’s just more expressive
The Kokuyo fine writer won’t have the same feel as a true fude tip. But I thought the way the tip flexes would be closer to the fude experience than a ceramic roller ball.
Can feel the sunlight caressing all those etched grooves!
I’m sorry to hear you paid so much for the HORIZON…

Thank you for your support!
I think I’ll skip therapy though — my price structures are perfectly sane
This is what I am currently carrying to work. (I have a generic leather case that holds three pens or pencils.)
The inexpensive, unassuming Skilcraft is one of my favorite daily use pencils. I purchased a box of what was supposed to be a dozen .05mm Skilcraft pencils, but all but two turned out to be .07mm. It’s a lightweight plastic mass produced pencil, but it fits my hand well and writes well. The newer Skilcraft pencils don’t appeal to me at all. This type is a decent pencil though.
The General Electric is a Faber-Castell DS 05 (thanks Knockologists for helping identify it). I’ve become a big fan of this model.
The third pencil is an Autopoint. I’m not sure of the model name but the cap extends like an old time car antenna and you can use it as a map pointer. It extends about 15 inches. I’m not sure it would be very useful, but the combo was too interesting for me to pass up. This is a heavy pencil thanks to the telescoping pointer and whatever plastic material they used for the barrel feels nice. However, it’s not a great pencil for me to write with because of the lack of grip. It’s a bit slippery feeling.
Of course, I have to have a couple of stick erasers because everyone knows you never use the erasers of your mechanical pencils.
Sassy!
Drool worthy Quatro!!
The white on it is not a very bright shade and because of that it pairs very well with gold. I am really glad I picked this one up.
Love the BIC!
That white Quatro (¥5000 variant) is extremely rare!
I see your collection up to 18 different models in common with mine. Of those in common, my favorites are the Ballograf Epoca, the S3/H320, the Pentel Sharp and the Vector. Could you tell me which one is that yellow one with the black grip in the first photo?
Thanks!
