The other gold one is NOT left handed

I didn’t notice

You might have a true rarity on that one

same here. I’m surprised he sold that one to me. Very generous of him to let it go.
I did promise to name my first born son after him, but hey.

Beautiful! The Paragon 1399P is very special  I wonder what it was used for. Do the three rulers in the middle have celluloid scales?

It is an Architects scale….typical plan views ( floor plans) are at 1/4”= 1’ or 1/8” = 1’, but often you want larger scales to show more detail, such as cabinet elevations or connection details…thus those size scales ( and others) faciltate that…typical 12” long triangular archie scales have 12 different scales on them to allow a choice of what will best show what you want done (or else…)

I received a grail today along with a few others. The front is the Pilot Protecs. Next is a Pilot Young Skyline HY-100SK, and then a Pilot ‘top chuck’ (not sure of the official name), the predecessor to the Clutch Point.

On my desk now are a few recent pickups from the forum as well as my daily pocket carries (800 and the pen)

How sweet is that new 500 colorway?!

What’s that top Faber-Castell?

Man, that clutch pencil seems ancient — and yet, amazingly, as modern as any brass model I have seen lately, from various brands. The patina alone is delightful.

What is the story of this set? Both the conditions and the colours look spectacular.
