The other gold one is NOT left handed
I didn’t notice
You might have a true rarity on that one
I can’t stop looking at that Pilot drafter ![]()
same here. I’m surprised he sold that one to me. Very generous of him to let it go.
I did promise to name my first born son after him, but hey.
Now you have both!!
That’s what counts!
What a pity. Thank you for checking!
Beautiful! The Paragon 1399P is very special
I wonder what it was used for. Do the three rulers in the middle have celluloid scales?
It is an Architects scale….typical plan views ( floor plans) are at 1/4”= 1’ or 1/8” = 1’, but often you want larger scales to show more detail, such as cabinet elevations or connection details…thus those size scales ( and others) faciltate that…typical 12” long triangular archie scales have 12 different scales on them to allow a choice of what will best show what you want done (or else…)
and yes…
I received a grail today along with a few others. The front is the Pilot Protecs. Next is a Pilot Young Skyline HY-100SK, and then a Pilot ‘top chuck’ (not sure of the official name), the predecessor to the Clutch Point.
Holy cow
You’re killing it!!!
Thanks! Going to have to make a sales post here soon to fund my degeneracy.
YES
That’s a common thought of mine!!!
On my desk now are a few recent pickups from the forum as well as my daily pocket carries (800 and the pen)
How sweet is that new 500 colorway?!
The LION and the Pilot reign supreme ![]()
What’s that top Faber-Castell?
Man, that clutch pencil seems ancient — and yet, amazingly, as modern as any brass model I have seen lately, from various brands. The patina alone is delightful.
What is the story of this set? Both the conditions and the colours look spectacular.
