I always find new pages on that Canva website, with specimens to add to my list of “wanted pencils”. Whenever I feel pretty sure I checked all the pages, here is a new one popping up.

You have to browse the Canva site for pleasure. Just enjoy perusing, like flipping through an old family photo album. There is never too many times to look through.

I’m currently using Majohn’s A2. It looks very similar to the Pilot Capless’s older model, but it costs less than one-tenth as much. I mainly use F or EF nibs, and I also prefer refilling cartridges with a syringe rather than using a converter like con-40

I just received this Newman and I got me thinking, “kind of reminds me of the Young Gentleman double knock.” As I was looking for it, I noticed the Technomatic as well.
There aren’t many etched grips out there that are just lines like this, surprisingly. They’re actually quite grippy, so I wonder why other producers out there didn’t make more like this. I guess it’s probably easier to just throw on a rubber grip or knurl the metal.
