What was the very first Mechanical Pencil you used?

Thinking way back, I used to think it was my father’s old U.S. Gov Wearevers, or the Scripto Classics I used in the A.F. But maybe it was…the Pop-A-Point in Jr. High (1970’s). What was yours?? (Showing a more modern version…)

If not that Pop-a-point, has to be a standard BIC mechanical pencil. Probably had 100 colors of those as a kid.

Yep…those sure were everywhere.

Mine was a Pilot Shaker that I bought my first year of college.

The very one. Years later, I bought a dozen more - just for nostalgia.

I remember using a Pop-a-point pencil at some time. I even remember that pencil case.

But the first I really remember was the P205 my dad gave me in the mid-80’s.
