I recently shipped a package from ZenMarket, and it was supposed to come today. USPS says it has been delivered, and the address on ZenMarket was correct. However, it is not in my mailbox and the USPS tracking number does not indicate the address it was shipped to. I’m still waiting for a little bit, as I’m hoping my package was accidentally delivered to one of my neighbors. However, if it doesn’t turn up, who should I contact? Will I get compensation for the lost package, and from who?
Usually the delivery company should be contacted in such cases. Get on the customer support call.
Our local mail service has become increasingly unreliable over the past few months. It appears they’re struggling to retain dependable delivery personnel, and as a result, the overall consistency of tracking and deliveries has noticeably declined. I’ve experienced nearly a dozen instances where packages were marked as delivered but didn’t arrive until a day or two later. Some have even been delivered to the wrong address or the wrong neighborhood entirely. On one occasion, I even witnessed a mail carrier pretending to deliver a package.
Did you find the package?
No, I will be calling usps customer support on Monday.
Edit: As I hit send on that message, one of my neighbors rang on my doorbell to give me my package :))
That’s awesome
Damn USPS!
