What are the pieces that have eluded you?

Hello! I am really grateful to be part of this forum! I’ve learned a ton in a relatively short time. I’ve been a niche mechanical pencil collector for a long time, but this site has definitely broadened my tastes. I’ve gone a bit overboard these past few months with my purchases. I’ll post some pics once my latest package is delivered. That said, I know my collecting interests probably don’t align with many of yours. I was curious, are there pieces you consistently search for day-after-day, week-after-week, month-after-month, year-after-year that you just never see. Those items that would genuinely shock you if they came up in a search. Here are a few of mine:

Any of the Pentel QE407f colors. I’ve only ever seen one sell and it was abroad in a location I couldn’t buy from.

The Pentel QE405f colors. I have one blue model and a couple greens, but I just never see these pop up.

You say this…. Money isn’t the issue. I’m either outbid, or too late.

I take pride in acquiring “diamonds” for “quartz” prices. Yet I have not come across a singular opportunity to flat out BUY one.

With the right alerts in place, and daily morning review of pentel listings you’ll get one eventually. Everything comes around. Everything.
