I built one in black and white. The… molding of the pieces is a bit uneven and some parts may be slightly warped, I.e. the fit may not be ‘perfect’. I ended up glueing some of the troublesome pieces permanently.

Bumping this thread so new members see it. Really cool! Maybe they improved the molding since last year (unless it was a one-time batch)? Has anyone else built it?=

I gave one of these to my wife several years ago. She just finally built it.

Great timing then! Was it better than what drifand describes? 
She did have problems putting together the pencil at times.

These are now OOP and getting harder to find!
