I have an old Pilot drafting pencil with an unusual barrel shape.
The barrel is round but between the grip and the clip it has three flattened sides. – I have lifted the sticker carefully but there is no model designation.
Does anyone know more?

Thank you!
I think this is the second iteration of one of Pilot’s oldest drafting pencils. The older version has a different tip with a few grooves near where it attaches to the grip.
My favorite thing about these old pieces is the metal flange at the end cap—it just finishes the pencil in a simple, handsome way.
Thank you for these additional details! Yes, the metal flange is very appealing. I like that pencil!
By the way, the clip and the metal flange remind me of the H-100x.
Wow, never saw these before, it’s super pretty, now I NEED IT.
