Just got a Montblanc ballpoint and pencil pair and I must say, twist knock without auto advance is…well it’s something. Beautiful pencil though and feels great to hold. But the two handed operation is kinda nuts. Here’s the Meisterstuck mechanical pencil next to an Alphamatic Bronce.

I have this MB too. I don’t mind the twist knock and I don’t find it hard to do it one-handed.

Twist knock with auto advance would also be something. The idea sets the wheels in my head a-turnin’.
A kurutoga mechanism sets up a platform to be able to actually do that without a push tip
If as it spun it advanced lead ever so slightly

I could probably find a twist-extend ballpoint and retrofit it with a Kayou auto cartridge…
