Just a simple color pairing to start the week. For the pen I picked a Pfit pressurized pen in a vibrant scheme made for a collaboration with Beams fashion store in 2008. The Pfit is tiny, and designed to stay out of the way while being clipped to work aprons and uniforms etc. Unlike the bulky AirPress, the D1 cartridge itself is a self contained pressurized unit.
For the sharp, I picked a similarly colored CAPPER from 1978. This simple model has a ‘cap’ button with an integrated clip and is equipped with a brass clutch. The most out standing aspect has to be the bold raised lettering for ‘CAPPER’ and the dragonfly logo.
A word of caution: the plastic used for the cap is quite soft and can be easily deformed if you twist the piece while attempting to remove it. The correct method is to pull it straight off. Do not twist. I ruined one pencil while figuring this out.
