There is no exact timeline yet. I have been trying my best to figure out. It is as complicated as the PG series. I am working on finding out for both.

You’re welcome. Btw, another way to check whether it is an early type is by disassembling the pencil and see if you get a very long spring. From early 70s they started to produce that 1st type structure and later from Idk when they changed to something similar to Automac, which has a hidden spring inside the grip barrel
