Not wanting to sound like a revisionist, the old books of rites and observations had a chapter on pencils where, among several domestic recommendations like “always cut your nails” (Naglfar) or “you should keep your tips sharp”, it was also clearly stated that every mechanical pencil ever made should have a 2mm model. What happened was all the scholars and wise men decided to remove that chapter because it didn’t make any sense back then. What the heck was a mechanical pencil?Nobody even knew how to write, only the merchants in the south in Phoenicia who used funny symbols like the Sumerian. So they decided to cut that chapter because nobody knew where that came from.
