There is a HH-50K with a Coral colour body… Probably one of the nicest looking pencils I’ve ever seen. They came originally with a huge lead, perhaps 10cm or more. Fantastic stuff.

I love these models even more after discovering they were the ¥500 precursor to Pilot’s famous double-knock series (which starts with the H-1005).

Indeed — the H-1005 seems to have inherited the faux-bois body from the black HH-50.

I think that’s a faded red piece; I have a 0.5 in red that looks amazing.

Could be… Because there’s actually an Orange one too…

(it’s not very logical that there should be a colour in between, imo — not in the 70s at least)

(alas, should have kept at least a Black one for myself)
