Stationary Magazine

I picked up Issue 1-10 of Stationary Magazine, and OMG this is most certainly stationary porn. Each issue covers a year from 2005 (issue 1) to 2014 (issue 10). Every page is beautifully put together.

I’m in a bit of a time crunch but here is a link that gives a much better explanation:

Here are a couple pages with MPs from Issue 1. I was surprised to see the PG1804 being sold as late as 2005.

I’ll work on getting the pages with pencils scanned and posted over the next few months.

I am really looking forward to digging into these.

The Stationery Magazine is absolutely fantastic! I bought the issues when they came out. Imagine my excitement when there was a new edition (and my disappointment when it was finally discontinued). – I can’t read Japanese and only bought the editions because of the photos.
However, it should not be seen as a catalogue, i. e. not everything shown in it was still officially available. Some companies presented not only new but also old products as a retrospective, and there were also one or two presentations by collectors.
By the way, there are also the 2024 and 2025 issues of Stationery Magazine, but they are from a different publisher and (at least for me) not as impressive as the old issues.
