Some older Faber-Castell items

Just a photo of some older Faber-Castell items.

The sharpeners are the Janus 4048 (top) and the Minfix 50/65; the background is the cover of a brochure from 1934. – The Janus 4048 has a replacement screw because I overtightened the original one.

@2mm_Collector Thank you!

I impulsively bought this Faber Castell 9400 and this Venus box. Is this the original packaging for this pencil? I’m not very familiar with Faber-Castell products and have never come across the Venus Drawing Pencil No. 41 before.

well, it seems not -

I don’t have a Venus - and no plans to pick one up. Anyone here want this box? (free - just pay shipping to you)

I love the clarity of the GOLD writing on that thing! Beautiful pencil!

I’ve added sharpeners to my cart and taken them out so many times. I do collect some actual pencils if they stand out to me but I don’t really sharpen them. I’m afraid I would just set the sharpener aside and that isn’t fair to the sharpener!

What I do REALLY want is this! I don’t want to pay $200 or $250.
I’m trying to wear the woman down over time.
She says the included cores make it so she can’t bring her pricing down, I don’t value the cores! It is what it is though….

I still have a hard lump on the side of the knuckle of my middle finger from that hostile looking and feeling grip from feverishly drawing with that same model of pencil as a child.
