Yup.
I rip out the dividers and put those slotted trays in them. The ones that don’t have slotted trays I have bought self adhesive felt that I stick to the drawer bottom for protection.
The slotted trays are a bit of a luxury for me, they’re pretty damn expensive. But I really like them. They keep the pencils from banging into each other. With the trays installed you can hold 21 per drawer.
They come in packs of four, and when you trimmed them down to fit, you can fill up two more drawers with the cut offs, but they are split in the middle. Which doesn’t look bad when it’s fully occupied with pencils.
Not all the drawers shown are full, and two of them are filled with various leads, erasers and accessories.
I think this solution is nice for small to midsize collections but I don’t think it would be economically feasible for someone who has 1000s of pencils.
I like this because I can easily view my and access my entire collection, and still have them safely stored away and protected from scratches and UV.

Thank you! I know I looked at these. Pretty sure I vetoed because I couldn’t fit two rows in each drawer.

Yep - that is a limitation for sure. And those larger chonky pencils wont fit well either. Thats why I got those two on the top that have a deeper drawer.
I have a PQ2, an ERGoNoMiX and an ERGoNoMiX WingGrip that would not fit with the slotted trays installed.
Anything from a Kerry on down fits great.

I added some more pencil drawers to fill up the remaining space.
I keep pencil boxes and drafting accessories in the two drawers at the bottom.
