I am just glad for anything original from them. Their 305 Alvin knockoff was such a poor move. But if they can generate new models and iterate on them, I am here for it.
The Taglio doesn’t look very serious from a design or materials standpoint, but they have to start somewhere to gauge the market.

The cost is pretty high for something that looks fairly ‘normal’. I’d hoped for a double-knock from the look of the tip but it seems the main feature is a solid aluminum(?) body with a machine-cut grip.

The taper to a slimmer back half is mildly interesting, but that grip doesn’t do anything for me and the unresolved transition at the nose cone is bad.
For the limited feature set, I’d rather Sakura had done more with the machining, finishing and aesthetics… and charged 2x under craft_lab branding!

I could have easily bought this to be an ohto…
But I hope it is a solid built product.
I am more interested in the pencil case that is used in their marketing material. Always looking for good pencil case suggestions to protect my pencils!
