@Raheal did you have to use any specialised tools to prevent damage to the pencil? Feels like pulling out the clutch is a one-time deal?
On the lead grade side, the assembly is glued together, so some damage is unavoidable during disassembly.
For the clutch section, in the West German versions, the part is simply fitted into the plastic, so if you remove the spring first (if I remember correctly), it comes out quite easily.
