Long weekend excursion to Johor Bahru up north from Singapore. Visited the Tsutaya Books and had a great time browsing and shopping.
Nice selection of books and stationery, gifts and anime goods. It was nice to see Hedera goods on display.

Big BB fan here. So happy I got to see him in a small venue before he passed. What a legend.

I was able to see him at the King Biscuit festival a year or so before he died.
I had a friend who owned a tourist trap on Beal right down from BB Kings bar (Tater Red’s Voodoo Emporium). Anyway, BB wasn’t there but Leo and the manager at BBs were friends and long story short I got a tour of BBs office under the bar. I also got to sit at his desk. He had a few of his gold records on the walls, and lots of personal memorabilia. It was a really good experience.

I was a notorious mustache artist as a kid. At one point I wasn’t allowed near a Sharpie after many of my parents books and magazines got a little upgrade from me.
