Looks like the “first pencil” (oldest specimen known to man?) owned by the Faber-Castell company, and possibly shown in their museum. Amazingly simple but effective design.
A couple of weeks ago we went to the Bride’s Veil waterfall. This being Transylvania, there’s always a chilling story behind everything. Legend has it that a bride fell there and her veil got tangled in the rocks. And the people in the procession wept so much that their tears turned into a stream.
In 2009 a young man aged 21 died falling from the top, a 30 meter drop. His friends say he slipped on wet rocks and moss. The old hags in the village downstream say the bride has finally found her soulmate…

You should. While its not as cheap as it used to be 10 or 20 years ago, it is a lot more accessible with better infrastructure, more options where to stay and eat, many old buildings restored…
