This was supposed to be one of my side quests in Turkey last year, but we decided not to go after spending a long day visiting Myra/Demre on a tour bus.
Few things I love more than a scenic hot springs, especially the salt-covered cliffs of Pamukkale!
Is it healthy to walk barefoot on so much salt? Probably is I have no idea but the people in the photo are all barefoot and certainly seem to be in a healing pose — for lack of a better word…
It’s Limestone, not salt. Everybody is barefoot because with any kind of shoes it may get slippery and also very messy on your shoes. There are many areas where the water of the hot springs is flowing over

Found a great German chess computer from the 80s on Ebay for a great price. Chess Champion Super System 3!
I’m not a nostalgic person and I usually only miss the Future — but sometimes I wonder if we’re not leaving too many great things behind. I mean I love Shredder but nothing compares interacting with a prompt in Chess. It’s like playing Hal 9000.

On holidays up north in the country… usually I dont do much, except eating and drinking and watching TV like Jabba… but… I still do drawings all the time. Here’s a bunch of pages drying, waiting to get the next layer of colour. I work with oil paint only, each layer takes 3-5 days to dry (to touch)
