In reading an article on Note+ from pentel I stumbled apon the following image of a qx05 pn305.
It seemed to have a sleeve more akin to the orenznero without the second step.
All other photos of the qx05 pn305 I have found elsewhere seemed to have a stepped sleeve design.
The patent also seems to have the stepped sleeve design.
Does anyone have info on the first qx05 pn305 and why it has a different sleeve?
I have that page off the Note site saved, but I never noticed the difference in the tips. All the photos of the QX I have saved have the silver step tip.
leads me to wonder if the different sleeve means
a. a display model with no special functionality
b. a prototype with a weaker sleeve
since they do looks slightly different with the caps posted
As I have said elsewhere, there are several places that Pentel has used Prototypes for promotional materials and catalogs. This is probably another case where this happened.
